Gulya Isyanova joined the Stockholm Network in October 2007 after a successful internship. As a research officer, she works across all three research programmes. Her most recent and upcoming projects include Carbon Scenarios (energy & environment), Race for Innovation (intellectual property & competition) and Health Quality Index (health & welfare).

Apart from research, she is also responsible for editing the Climate of Opinion newsletter and co-editing the Know IP journal, to both of which she regularly contributes articles. Her other responsibilities include media monitoring, events and networking.

Gulya holds a BA in European Social and Political Studies from University College London and an MSc in Global Politics from the London School of Economics. She has been published in several magazines and an abridged version of her undergraduate dissertation is due to be published by Routledge later this year. Gulya is fluent in Russian, French and Spanish, and also speaks some German.
