Kosten-Nutzen-Bewertung darf nicht nur pauschalieren!

Dr Meir Pugatch, Director of Research for the Stockholm Network, had an article published in the German magazine "Arzt & Wirtschaft". In the article Dr Pugatch discusses the use of Health Technology Assessment (HTA) in the German health system. He recommended that the role of the HTA body “IQWiG” should be confined to setting reimbursement limits; it should not tell patients which medication to take.
