Value-Based Pricing: Too High a Price for UK Pharma?

An interview with Paul Healy, senior researcher of the stockholm-network.org, was featured in an article in Pharmaceutical Executive Magazine about the introduction of value-based pricing in the UK. In the article, Paul is quoted on the reforms as saying that "as VBP in the UK would not be considering all factors of value, patients may be forced to endure longer waits for some innovative medicines to be launched here".

Le Courrier du Médecin Vaudois
Traitement personnalise versus medecine standardisee?

Dr Meir Pugatch and Paul Healy, respectively director of research and senior researcher of the stockholm-network.org, have contributed an article to the latest edition of Le Courrier du Médecin Vaudois, the official journal for physicians of the 180 year old Société Vaudoise de Médecine (SVM). In the article, the issue of personalised medicines are discussed and it is argued how current one-size-fits-all healthcare systems are unlikely to be able to accommodate such medicines.
